Anonymous asked: Thanks for the skincare advice, tat really helped :) btw what was that Japanese technique you mentioned about?

I learnt a lot of facial massage from Japanese magazines, however if you search Melodee Morita on youtube she has lots of videos on Japanese skincare.

tip of the week

It’s important to wash your face with warm water because it helps to open your pores and get all of the dirt and oil out from beneath your skin. What many people don’t know is that it’s also important to follow up with cool water. This is going to close up your pores and ensure that you aren’t going to be getting tons of dirt and product clogged up in your pores shortly after washing your face.

Little tip

If your hair appears dull, make an at-home conditioner. Mix one egg yolk, two tablespoons of rum, two tablespoons of olive oil, and two tablespoons of grapeseed oil. Massage the mixture over your hair and scalp, wrap your head in a hot towel, wait 30 minutes, and rinse. Your hair will be so glossy afterward, it’s well worth the effort.

Skincare Routine

As requested.

The first thing I do is remove my makeup with Lush’s 9-5. I do this twice to make sure my skin is completely clean. Then, as I have oily skin I use Lush’s Tea Tree Water toner and give my face a light tap with my fingers. Then I use Full of Grace serum, also from Lush and give my face a massage using Japanese techniques. (Message me if you want me to share those) and finally I apply a N7 moisturizer. I do this morning and night and once a week I use a facial mask from Lush. My favourites are Cupcake and Oatifix. I sometimes also use the sheet masks from Missha in honey, pearl, green tea or lemon.

Anonymous asked: Do you have any skincare advices? And can you maybe share YOUR skincare routine? thanks:)

My biggest piece of skincare advice is to keep it simple and don’t tamper with your skin too much. For example, if you have a pimple, sometimes it’s better to just apply a spot treatment and leave it instead of squeezing it or trying thousands of chemical laden creams. I personally LOVE lush skincare and I will do a post with my skincare routine. Xxx

Lip Colour Remover

Sometimes it’s hard to remove tough lipstick… This mini-recipe should fix all that.

Mix a few drops of olive oil with some sugar and scrub away at your lips. Wipe away. Your lips would be clean
